Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Northeastern took on Greater Latrobe on Saturday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Hugh Rogers paced Northeastern's offense, picking up eight kills. Rogers got some help from Jacob Zambito and his 13 assists. Rogers was also a major player on defense: he and Lincoln Wertz shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Northeastern's victory bumped their record up to 20-9-6. As for Greater Latrobe, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2-1.

Northeastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Meadville on the 3rd. As for Greater Latrobe, they will take on Penn-Trafford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
