Football Recap: Miranda Reiter and Priscilla Garcia Pace Arbor View Defense

Arbor View was the 30-25 winner over Basic when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Arbor View Aggies might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 26-6 to the Basic Wolves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Aggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arbor View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Miranda Reiter and Priscilla Garcia.

Arbor View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Basic, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Arbor View will be taking part in a tournament against Southeast Career Tech at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Southeast Career Tech's defense has only allowed 8.3 points per game this season, so Arbor View's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Basic, they will take on Clark in a tournament on Saturday. Basic is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
