Football Game Preview: Mason Punchers vs. Marlin Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Mason Punchers will square off against the Marlin Bulldogs at 7:01 p.m. on Thursday. Marlin took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mason, who comes in off a win.

Marlin will be up against a hot Mason squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Punchers blew past San Saba 22-0 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Punchers, who have now won six contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Marlin lost to Moody on the road by a 22-7 margin on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mason's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Marlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Mason couldn't quite finish off Marlin in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 and fell 40-37. Thankfully for the Punchers, Roderick Suiters (who threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 71 yards and a pair of TDs) won't be suiting up this time.
