Preview: Seaford Bluejays vs. North Caroline Bulldogs
The Seaford Bluejays and the North Caroline Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday at. Hopefully Seaford is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Caroline in their respective states (Seaford is ranked 19th in Delaware, while North Caroline is ranked 121st in Maryland).
After a string of three wins, Seaford's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 62-38 walloping at the hands of Dover. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Seaford in their matchups with Dover: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, North Caroline ended up a good deal behind Queen Anne's County on Tuesday and lost 60-41. North Caroline has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Caroline's loss came about despite a quality game from Selaya Garrison, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Chloe Escoe, who scored seven points.
Seaford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for North Caroline, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
