Football Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short

Stagg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the DeKalb Barbs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 41-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Stagg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for DeKalb, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stagg will take on rival Bradley-Bourbonnais at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, DeKalb is set to challenge their familiar foe Lincoln-Way Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
