Baseball Recap: Caldwell Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Caldwell blew Buckeye Trail out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Buckeye Trail got their revenge. The Redskins fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Redskins have suffered since March 30, 2024.

Caldwell's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-2. As for Buckeye Trail, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Coming up, Caldwell will square off against River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Redskins have won 13 straight at home dating back to last season, while the Pilots won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Buckeye Trail, they will take on East Canton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
