Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hinkley). They never let the Lincoln Lancers get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Wednesday. Hinkley haven't had any issues with Lincoln recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Martin Carrizoza and Jose Duron scored both of Hinkley's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Hinkley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5-2. As for Lincoln, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hinkley will head out to square off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to take on Rangeview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
