It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Immaculata-La Salle had no problem doing just that on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions a 6-0 shutout. The Royal Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Alessandra Alvarez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Immaculata-La Salle has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6-3.

Immaculata-La Salle wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Gulliver Prep on the 29th. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
