Baseball Recap: Immanuel Christian Comes Up Short

Immanuel Christian was the 12-11 winner over Mojave when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Monday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crew Cox was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with six stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged four or more in each of the last three games he's played. Scott Marker was another key player, going 4-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Mojave, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-15.

Immanuel Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-7 defeat against Mammoth on the 29th. As for Mojave, they have also already played their next contest, a 22-18 victory against Trona on the 1st.
