Volleyball Recap: Mid-Buchanan Victorious

Mid-Buchanan won the last time they faced Lafayette and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dragons walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fighting Irish. The game was the first time the Dragons have beaten the Fighting Irish on their court since September 10, 2019.

Mid-Buchanan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 30-28, 25-14.

Tatum Moss paced Mid-Buchanan's offense, picking up 16 kills. Moss got some help from Myia Dillman and her 43 assists. Bintley Barton and Camryn Atha kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

The victory got Mid-Buchanan back to even at 5-5-1. As for Lafayette, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Mid-Buchanan will square off against Penney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette, they will host Savannah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Fighting Irish their first taste of in-conference action this season.
