Basketball Recap: MFL Marmac Piles Up the Points Against Clayton-Ridge

MFL MarMac won the last time they faced Clayton-Ridge and things went their way on Friday too. The MFL MarMac Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Clayton-Ridge Eagles 70-34. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Eagles are ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for MFL MarMac and bumps their season record up to 11-2. As for Clayton-Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

MFL MarMac didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-65 victory against Charles City on the 18th. Clayton-Ridge has also already played their next match (against Edgewood-Colesburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
