The South Stokes Sauras will venture away from home to face off against the West Stokes Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Stokes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

West Stokes better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when South Stokes really gets things going. South Stokes was the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over East Wilkes on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sauras.

They hit East Wilkes with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zale Alpaugh, Payton Barbee, and Diana Espino-Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, West Stokes managed to keep up with Davie until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. West Stokes lost 5-0 to Davie. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Stokes pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matches. As for West Stokes, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.
