Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glenwood Springs). They strolled past the Grand Junction Central Warriors with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 72-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Demons also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Glenwood Springs found their leader in freshman Aiden Parrington, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 19 points and eight boards. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for Parrington. Sayre Yellico was another key player, putting up 12 points and five assists.

Glenwood Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive games.

Grand Junction Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Adam Tabora, who went 8 for 16 en route to 23 points. Glenwood Springs' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Grand Junction Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
