Baseball Recap: Nanih Waiya Comes Up Short

Nanih Waiya was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sebastopol Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 19-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Kaleb Davis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

Nanih Waiya suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Sebastopol, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sebastopol beat Nanih Waiya by a score of 12-0 on Friday.
