The Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes will challenge the Eau Claire North Huskies at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Eau Claire Memorial will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Eau Claire Memorial was able to grind out a solid victory over Rice Lake, taking the game 57-47. Given the Old Abes' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Warriors are ranked 89th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Eau Claire North lost to Superior on the road by a 69-53 margin on Tuesday. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Eau Claire Memorial's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Eau Claire North, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
