Basketball Game Preview: Summit Christian Academy Falcons vs. Pocahontas County Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Summit Christian Academy Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Pocahontas County Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Summit Christian Academy beat Shady Spring 55-42.

Summit Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Botts, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals. The matchup was Botts' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bailee Martin, who went 7 of 15 en route to 20 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Pocahontas County put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat Notre Dame by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 64-46.

Summit Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pocahontas County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
