Volleyball Recap: Tampa Bay HEAT Comes Up Short

Tampa Bay HEAT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Freedom Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Freedom this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

While Tampa Bay HEAT was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-18.

Tampa Bay HEAT's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Freedom, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Tampa Bay HEAT didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Celebration on the 18th. As for Freedom, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against West Orange on the 17th.
