Baseball Recap: Gila Ridge Hawks vs. San Luis Sidewinders
Gila Ridge had lost six straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 3-21 to make it seven. They lost 12-0 to the San Luis Sidewinders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Sidewinders this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-7 defeat on Tuesday.
As for San Luis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games.
