Football Game Recap: Mount Desert Island vs. Maine Central Institute

After soaring high against Hampden last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Mount Desert Island ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-28 walloping at Maine Central Institute's hands. If Mount Desert Island were expecting to get some payback for the 6-27 loss against Maine Central Institute the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. The game brought Maine Central Institute to 2-1 and dropped Mount Desert Island to a mirror-image 1-2.

Mount Desert Island will stay at home next week against Winslow at 7:00 PM. Maine Central Institute will be staying on the road, facing off against Medomak Valley. Maine Central Institute will be strutting in after a win while Medomak Valley will be stumbling in from a defeat.
