Football Recap: Troy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Troy and Columbus squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Troy had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Cardinals 48-0. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 670th, while the Cardinals are ranked 105th).

Hunter Fryman threw for 40 yards on five of 12 attempts.

Troy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6. As for Columbus, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

As of now, neither Troy nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
