Meanwhile, Grimsley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Cowboys. Saddie Mayer had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Grimsley.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Grimsley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Page was able to grind out a solid win over Grimsley in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Page since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
