Baseball Recap: King's Academy Comes Up Short

King's Academy lost against Calvary Christian Academy back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The King's Academy Lions fell 5-1 to the Calvary Christian Academy Eagles.

Alexander Hansen was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, King's Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Payne, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

King's Academy suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3-3.

King's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-4 win against Somerset Academy - Canyons on the 10th. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 9-5 victory against Miami Christian on the 10th.
