Basketball Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short

Harlan lost against DuSable back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Harlan Falcons took a blow against the DuSable Panthers, falling 33-3. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harlan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for DuSable, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Harlan and DuSable's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Harlan will square off against EPIC Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, a team that's only allowed 27.62 points per game. Both have allowed few points on average, (Harlan: 19.8, DuSable: 15.9) so any points scored will be well earned. Similarly, DuSable and Goode STEM Academy (who has only given up 17.88 points per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
