Softball Recap: Crockett Takes a Loss

Crockett lost against Coldspring-Oakhurst last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Crockett came up short against Coldspring-Oakhurst, falling 20-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crockett saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yahira Aguilar, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Crockett's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Crockett will challenge rival New Waverly at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coldspring-Oakhurst is set to square off against their familiar foe Anderson-Shiro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
