Basketball Recap: Pueblo County Takes a Loss

Pueblo County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pueblo West Cyclones. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Pueblo County still got an impressive performance from Luca Tucci, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Tucci a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Glenn, who scored seven points.

Pueblo County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Pueblo West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Pueblo County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-50 win against Pueblo Centennial on the 24th. As for Pueblo West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-62 victory against Vista Ridge on the 25th.
