After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hayes, Pleasant was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the River Valley Vikings. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Pleasant let Ryan Conway and Cole Bailey run wild. Conway scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Bailey scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Trent Caudill, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-5.

The win got Pleasant back to even at 1-1. As for River Valley, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Pleasant will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
