Softball Recap: Brainerd Comes Up Short

Brainerd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Tyner Academy Rams, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Brainerd's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Tyner Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brainerd will challenge rival Marion County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tyner Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Bledsoe County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
