Cabell Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 24-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Spring Valley Timberwolves. On the bright side, the 20- point performance marked the Knights' highest-scoring game to date.

Cabell Midland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Spring Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
