Mountain View waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Greeley Central Wildcats. This was payback for the Mountain Lions, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mountain View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-18.

Jackson Jensen paced Mountain View's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jensen got some help from Gabe Victor and his 26 assists. AJ Escalle controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mountain View pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Greeley Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Mountain View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Arrupe Jesuit on the 7th. As for Greeley Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Riverdale Ridge on the 8th.
