Troy Flutie, the nephew of former Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie, had his best game of the season, but it wasn't enough to lift Natick (Mass.) to a playoff win.

Flutie completed 23 of 42 passes for 390 yards to rank among the national leaders from last week in games reported to MaxPreps. However Flutie's squad lost to Framingham, 42-28, and was eliminated from the playoffs.

Flutie finished the season with 2,018 yards passing and 21 touchdowns. The Red and Blue finished the season 8-3.

Meanwhile, Sheldon Wilson of Anadarko (Okla.) continues to put up impressive numbers. Among last week's national rushing leaders, Wilson ran for a season-best 390 yards on 26 carries with four touchdowns in his team's 34-14 playoff win over Metro Christian.

Wilson, a MaxPreps All-American last year, is closing in on the all-time career rushing mark in Oklahoma. Steve Tate set the mark with 7,656 yards in the early 1970s. Wilson has 7,131 yards heading into this week's Oklahoma 3A state semifinal game against Berryhill.

Wilson also ranks among the all-time national leaders with 127 touchdowns, including 55 this year.

Following are the top stat stars from around the nation as reported by their coaches to MaxPreps.
