Softball Recap: Edgewood's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Edgewood extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 13-2 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Geneva Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Geneva, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Geneva's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caidyn Siegel, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Edgewood will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
