Soccer Recap: Westover Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seventy-First Falcons. Westover were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Seventy-First apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Lar Say and Lah Htoo scored both of Westover's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Westover's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Seventy-First, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10-2 record this season.

While Westover had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
