Soccer Recap: Palisade Takes a Loss

Palisade lost against Montrose back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Red Hawks. While losing is never fun, Palisade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Montrose are ranked 15th).

Palisade has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Montrose, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-2 record this season.

Palisade will take on Eagle Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montrose, they will face off against Durango at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
