Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kellen Green and Cordell Jordan Lead Oxford to Victory

Oxford won the last time they faced Dexter and things went their way on Saturday too. The Oxford Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 victory over Dexter.

Oxford was led to victory by Cordell Jordan and Kellen Green. Jordan dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards, while Green went 6 of 11 en route to 19 points and eight rebounds. Green's morning made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Logan Gaither was another key player, putting up seven points and six rebounds.

Oxford's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Dexter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1.

Oxford will take on Sedan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Oxford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests. Dexter has already played their next matchup (against Bluestem), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
