Smithson Valley waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Boerne-Champion Chargers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 back in February.

Smithson Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Boerne-Champion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Coincidentally, Smithson Valley and Boerne-Champion will both be playing Alamo Heights the next time they take the field. Smithson Valley will host Alamo Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Boerne-Champion will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
