After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Cloud, Heritage was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 67-28 win over the Space Coast Vipers. That looming 67-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Ray Taveras was the offensive standout of the matchup as he shot 55% from the field en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Jeremiah Flowers was another key player, putting up nine points.

Heritage smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.

The victory snapped Heritage's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record. As for Space Coast, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Heritage has already played their next contest, a 54-34 loss against DeLand on the 15th. Space Coast and Satellite will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
