Baseball Recap: Petersburg Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Petersburg's offense. They came up short against the Ketchikan Kings on Friday, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ketchikan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Petersburg and Ketchikan will both be playing Homer the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Mariners at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Kings will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
