Baseball Game Preview: Forbush Falcons vs. Wilkes Central Eagles

For the second straight game, Forbush will face off against Wilkes Central. The Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Forbush took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Wilkes Central a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Forbush got a massive performance out of Dylan McClamrock, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. McClamrock has become a key player for the Falcons: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Hutchens, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Wilkes Central has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Forbush, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
