Volleyball Recap: Justice Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Justice lost against Lewis back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lancers 25-19 in the first set.

Justice started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-22.

Sam Klubes paced Justice's offense, picking up seven kills. Klubes got some help from Zakirya Sultani and his 17 assists. Klubes also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Michael Contreras, each putting up three.

Justice's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lewis, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Justice didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Falls Church on the 25th. As for Lewis, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Hayfield on the 25th.
