Carson had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. They blew past the Salisbury Hornets 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Carson took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-5, 25-10.

Carson was led to victory by Carmen Graham and Alana Herring. Graham had 12 digs and five aces, while Herring had seven digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Herring a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Carson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Salisbury, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Carson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against East Rowan on the 23rd. As for Salisbury, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against South Rowan on the 23rd.
