Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

If Valley Christian was feeling good fresh off their 63-17 takedown of Fremont Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Valley Christian Vikings were dealt a 64-29 defeat at the hands of the Hercules Titans on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 54-30 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Valley Christian dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hercules, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will take on American in a tournament on December 26th. Hercules and Antioch will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th.
