Seneca has gone a perfect 6-0 against Bishop Eustace Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles will head out to challenge the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. Seneca's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Bishop Eustace Prep's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Seneca took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Haddon Heights, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Golden Eagles had just enough and edged out the Garnets 4-3 on Tuesday. While the Golden Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Emily Buddendorf spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Seneca saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Kutsmeda, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Bishop Eustace Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to Moorestown.

Seneca pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Bishop Eustace Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Seneca got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Bishop Eustace Prep by a conclusive 17-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
