Soccer Recap: Homewood-Flossmoor Comes Up Short

Homewood-Flossmoor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Lockport Porters. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Homewood-Flossmoor of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Ezekiel Peprah and Sean Szostak scored both of Homewood-Flossmoor's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Homewood-Flossmoor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for Lockport, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2-2.
