Baseball Game Preview: Brentwood War Eagles vs. Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers

For the second straight game, Brentwood will face off against Central Fellowship Christian Academy. The War Eagles will host the Lancers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Brentwood has lost five straight at home , while Central Fellowship Christian Academy has lost 11 on the road (dating back to last season).

Brentwood is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over Central Fellowship Christian Academy on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the War Eagles as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Brentwood got a massive performance out of Riley Helton, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Helton also scored two runs, which is notable because the War Eagles are undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Nathan Diaz, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Brentwood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
