La Center is 8-2 against Stevenson since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The La Center Wildcats will face off against the Stevenson Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for La Center and three for Stevenson.

On Monday, La Center opened the new year with a less-than-successful 35-25 defeat to Columbia. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Stevenson came up short against King's Way Christian on Monday and fell 45-34.

La Center now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Stevenson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

La Center didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Stevenson when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 45-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for La Center since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
