Softball Recap: South Lafourche Comes Up Short

South Lafourche lost against John Ehret back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The South Lafourche Tarpons took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Ehret Patriots.

Karmyn Callais was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailyn Kiger, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

South Lafourche's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13. As for John Ehret, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, South Lafourche will square off against E.D. White at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. E.D. White is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season. As for John Ehret, they will host Bonnabel at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
