Baseball Recap: Bolingbrook Takes a Loss

Bolingbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Minooka Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 on Monday.

Bolingbrook saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pharrell Weekley, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bolingbrook's loss dropped their record down to 4-23-1. As for Minooka, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season.

While Bolingbrook had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
