After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mankato West, Albert Lea was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Austin Packers 10-8. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Albert Lea's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Austin, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
