Baseball Recap: Curlew Takes a Loss

Curlew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-1 to the Northport Mustangs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-1 loss on Saturday.

Curlew now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Northport, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Curlew is set to square off against their familiar foe Columbia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northport will face off against rival Cusick at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
