After a string of four wins, Crespi's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Canoga Park Hunters by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Celts came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Hunters are ranked 611th).

Crespi's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Canoga Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3-2.
